What is GYFTY Fiber Optic Cable?
GYFTY is a type of outdoor fiber optic cable that is commonly used in aerial and duct installations, specifically in telecommunications and data transmission networks. The fibers are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. The tube is wrapped with a layer of water blocking tape.The cable is completed with a PE sheath.
